Triple G is the specialist for cross-wound reels made of adhesive tape and more! For over 20 years, we have been manufacturing cross-wound reels and disk reels from all slitable and windable materials for the whole of Europe.

For your automated manufacturing processes or production lines, we manufacture individual long rolls from adhesive tapes, films, paper, foams and more!

The beginnings

Until the year 2000, my life was quite successful. As an expert in internal processes, I was a member of the management team at one of the world's largest adhesive tape manufacturers.

From year to year, I missed the challenge more and more. In addition to an office job, I needed more technology and more hands-on experience.

Along the way, I became more and more interested in the subject of “cross-winding”, a production option that normal converters would never dare to tackle. I was attracted by the idea of building up this area with more technical possibilities as a career changer.

All hurdles were overcome

At that time, only the major manufacturers offered this option at all, albeit only with standard dimensions. I, on the other hand, was almost unfamiliar with the field. I also had legitimate doubts as to whether I should give up my secure job.

Starting my own business in my mid-30s, with a family and three children, was a very high risk at the time. Despite all the adversities, I jumped in at the deep end and founded Triple G GmbH in Rorschach, Switzerland, in 2000.

The manufacturer independence from 3M, tesa and others, combined with more flexible technical possibilities, such as individual cutting widths, was exactly the niche that had been missing on the market. Over the years, we have succeeded in becoming the expert in the market for cross-wound reels thanks to our passion and dedication.

In 2015, we expanded and moved to a larger building in Rüthi in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley.

From 2024, we will be located in a larger hall at our new place in Balgach.

Today, Triple G enjoys a first-class reputation as a pure manufacturer of cross-wound coils in Europe. Our main objective is to use our manufacturing capabilities to speed up your workflows and production processes and eliminate bottlenecks. With our many years of expertise, we focus on your processes and deliver customized product solutions.
